Balsamic Honey Pulled Pork Sliders!

I’ve always wanted to try and make pulled pork from scratch and I decided to give this Better Home recipe a try.

One big adjustment I made with the ingredients though, is the honey. I replaced that with Agave Nectar instead (this is what happens when you’re allergic to honey).  The other sub I made was the buns. Instead of using hamburger buns, I used these soft dinner rolls that you can find in an Asian bakery…I love them…and sometimes eat them plain. They have this sweet taste to it.

If you are not into the vinegary type of bbq sauce, I would not use this recipe. The bbq sauce is a little tangy because of the Balsamic Vinegar. 

So here you are, the results….  after almost 6 hours on high in the slow cooker (the recipe said 4.5-5 hrs… but my pork was still raw in the middle..so I left it in for another hour or so.
